Halchem Lanka was established in 1989 and commences its commercial operation in late 1997. Initially the main activity of the company was in the field of fire engineering.
Since Breathing Air technology is one of the important areas in this field. Halchem was looking for the world's leading breathing air compressor manufacture for the Sri Lankan market in the processes of this exercise the world Renown Bauer Compressor Asia Pte Ltd, the Asian arm of the Bauer Kompressen of Germany joins hands with Halchem to supply the best breathing air compressors for fire fighters with remarkable after sales service. Invariable the same breathing air is used by the professional and leisure divers around the world an also in Sri Lanka.
100% Dive centers around the country are equipped with Bauer compressors. All professional diving institution including Sri Lanka Navy is using Bauer Compressors only. They require highest quality after sale service, repair and maintenance program including training etc.
When we provide necessary services to the dive centers, they realized that they have not received such a service in the past and also they were paying highly unrealistic prices for the spare parts and services.
